“Creating environments where generations can collide”

when we collide...

It is messy
It is uncontrollable
It is sometimes painful and challenging

It has the potential for God to transform us all
It has the potential of creating an experience
that you can’t have on your own

“Two combined influences make a
greater impact than just two influences”

(R. Joiner)

What can we gain together that we can’t do apart? (Acts 2: 42-47)

  • Different giftings
  • Different perspectives
  • Life experiences (varying)
  • Sharing of resources
  • Feeling a part of a BIGGER STORY

1 John 2:6 - “Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did”

This current generation in Western society has seen the creation of silos. We can find ourselves in siloed environments even in our home. All with our own rooms, computers, TV, Iphones.

The social networking world takes our young people to a place where most of their interaction is through a screen. This is the first generation that does not need leaders to gain information.

This is not just an issue for young people, it is across the generations.

“As a result, many don’t learn how to interface with folks from a different generation. Life for them is like an isolated compartment containing mostly people just like them.” (Tim Elmore, pg 45, 2010)
