Our church was recently challenging us to show gratitude to someone who has helped us, and to try to show it in a creative way. During this time I received a letter from a teenager, thanking me for various really nice things. (I probably dont need to go into detail about that here...) but the big thing was - it was hand written - with a pen!
I know this doesnt seem too astounding, but from my perspective, having a teenager use a pen instead of a keypad is a pretty big thing. I am thankful that someone so young was able to bless me (who is much older than a teen!) with such a powerful message of thanks in such a special handwritten way.
(as an aside - all this reminds me to continue investing into young people - they are so amazingly potential-filled)
